In 2008 the body was removed from the frame, then completely disassembled including the chassis. Every part was either replaced or refinished including hardware, brackets, nuts, bolts and screws. The body was stripped down and repainted to its original factory color River Side Red, code number 923 paint. The interior was also stripped and replaced with a Legendary Auto Interiors factory replacement interior and Dash Pad color number 490AA. Sound deadening Dynamat material was installed under the new carpet for a quieter factory ride. The engine was rebuilt by Burbank Speed and Machine utilizing the numbers matching 327/365 HP block, serial # 4100111 F087RE (RE denotes 327/365HP). All new hoses, belts, alternator, wiring harness, and electrical components were installed. All the cluster gauges were rebuilt and refaced by Redline Gauge Works. All new tires, steel wheels, complete rear leaf spring assembly, ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, all sleeves, bushings, control arm bumpers basically the complete front end steering and suspension assembly, shocks, Hub caps, emblems, gas cap, fan, aluminum radiator, windshield wiper motor assembly, exhaust system, brakes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake lines, bumpers, door handles, door locks, windshield washer arms, were installed, and basically all or most of the bright trim outside was replaced as well as the rocker panels and sill plates. Also installed are new window felts and window rubber.
